🌱 Next time you are craving cereal or need a topping for your yogurt bowl, try this super easy homemade granola !! It is packed with fiber, protein, antioxidants, and more 🙂
Each ingredient has a special rule in this recipe, here are some of my favs ⤵️
•• Peanut Butter: adds protein and flavor to granola
•• Sunflower Seeds: vitamin E, magnesium, fiber
•• Maple Syrup: adds flavor, texture, and sweetness
•• Cinnamon: high in antioxidants
•• Rolled Oats: great source of fiber
RECIPE:
– 1.5 cups gluten-free rolled oats
– 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
– 1 tbsp cinnamon
– 1/4 cup coconut oil (olive oil works here also)
– 2 tbsp maple syrup
– 1/4 cup peanut butter
– 1 tbsp brown sugar
>> Combine dry ingredients and set aside. In a saucepan, add wet ingredients and heat on low, until fully melted. Combine dry and wet ingredients, then add to a pan, pressing granola down with a spatula.
Bake 300F for 35 min (until edges are golden brown)
