Today we are making a gluten-free holiday bark (or Christmas crack) recipe, starring GOOD THINS Simply Salt snacks. This recipe is super simple and only requires five ingredients
Recipe:
~ 48 GOOD THINS Simply Salt snacks
~ 1 cup unsalted butter
~ 1 cup packed brown sugar
~ 2 cups chocolate chips
~ Optional: 3 crushed candy canes, holiday sprinkles
Steps:
1. Preheat the oven to 420F
2. Line a pan with parchment paper and line up GOOD THINS in single layer rows, set aside
3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar
4. Pour melted butter and brown sugar over GOOD THINS, creating an even thin layer
5. Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from oven
6. Immediately pour chocolate chips over GOOD THINS (they will naturally melt from the heat). Spread chocolate into a thin layer, coating all areas of the pan
7. Sprinkle candy canes and/or sprinkles onto the chocolate layer
8. Store in the freezer for at least 1 hour to set chocolate
9. Remove from freezer, cut into squares, and enjoy 🙂
~ Store in the refrigerator for 1 week or freezer for up to 3 months
