π± The main star of the show in this recipe is the crispy tofu. Tofu is a great complete ptotein option for all my vegan & vegetarian friends, or those who are focusing on plant-based eating
β’β’ For this recipe, I used an air fryer to crisp the tofu ~ if you donβt have an air fryer, I will list an alternative oven method below π
CRISPY TOFU RECIPE:
1. Cut 1 block of extra firm tofu into cubes
2. Drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil on the tofu, lightly coating all surfaces
3. Add 1 tbsp corn starch, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, and 1 tsp black pepper
4. Gently mix until spices cover all surfaces of the tofu
5. Top with 2 tbsp coconut aminos (soy sauce works here as well)
6. Place in air fryer at 400F for 20min. Turn tofu every 5 min to ensure even cooking
** OVEN METHOD: Bake at 400F for 30 minutes, flipping tofu halfway through cooking
